History
SAPPORO MOIWA SNOW SQUARE SKI&SNOWBOARD has long been a popular place for local residents as a place to experience snow for the first time and learn to ski. It is also used as a skiing lesson site for elementary and junior high school students, and is a slope that has fostered memories across generations.
After the war, ski lifts were installed at Maruike Ski Resort in Shiga Kogen, Nagano Prefecture, and at Moiwayama Ski Resort in Sapporo. This was a symbolic event of an era in which new ski culture and technology was introduced from overseas, and SAPPORO MOIWA SNOW SQUARE SKI&SNOWBOARD has also made its mark in history.
Currently, it offers a wide variety of courses from beginner to advanced, and is a ski resort that can be enjoyed by everyone from beginners to veterans, and will continue to add color to Sapporo's winters.

SAPPORO MOIWA SNOW SQUARE SKI&SNOWBOARD has a total of 10 diverse courses, ranging from easy slopes that the whole family can ski safely, to intermediate courses where you can hone your skills, and advanced courses where you can enjoy dynamic skiing. During the day, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the silvery white slopes and cityscape, and at night you can ski with the sparkling night view as your backdrop - each course offers a different experience.
